handyPASS and Taxi Saver
A handyPASS allows your attendant to ride free on fixed-route buses. Permanent handyDART customers are eligible for Taxi Saver vouchers. Temporary handyDART customers are not eligible. If you also want to apply for Taxi Saver vouchers, BC Transit requires you to have a handyPASS.
If you have been approved for handyDART, and want a handyPASS, you need to contact City Hall. The photo for your handyPASS will be taken at City Hall.
Accessible Transit Documents
Once you are registered, the User Guide and the Accessible Transit documents will be given to you.
The handyDART User Guide will help registered handyDART customers become familiar with handyDART transit services and offer travelling tips, safety information and answers to frequently asked questions.
Many handyDART customers use fixed-route and handyDART services, depending on their travel needs and destination.
Mobility Aid Guidelines
Within handyDART, there are several different styles of buses. Each bus style may have varying methods of loading, securement and requirements for placement of your mobility aid.
