Refunds for Monthly Passes

Need a refund for a Monthly Pass? You can get one at BC Transit’s administration office at 520 Gorge Road East.

Please note:

  • Vendors can’t issue refunds.
  • If your Monthly Pass is unused and still active, you can receive a prorated refund based on the return date.

Office hours

  • Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Closed on statutory holidays

Refunds for Fare Products and Cash Balance (Umo)

Refunds for Fare Products and Cash Balance purchased through Umo are reviewed based on the policy below.

What’s eligible

  • Refunds are available for unused Fare Products.
  • Refunds aren’t available for partially used or expired Fare Products.
  • Cash Balance refunds are available for amounts of $10 or more.

How to request a refund

  • Contact Umo Customer Service at 877-380-8181 to check eligibility and start your refund.
  • Approved refunds are sent back to the payment card linked to your Umo account.

If your Fare Product or Cash Balance was purchased through a Umo vendor, Umo Customer Service will collect your payment details and arrange processing through BC Transit within 15 business days.
