Where do we use this bus? Heavy Duty buses are BC Transit’s most widely deployed vehicle type, operating across 17 transit systems throughout British Columbia, including the majority of large and medium-sized communities in the province.

Medium Duty buses serve a range of communities across British Columbia: from medium-sized transit systems where passenger volumes don’t require a full-sized bus, to larger communities where certain routes don’t need that extra capacity. They operate across 24 transit systems in the province.

Where do we use this bus? BC Transit’s light duty fleet supports a variety of services across 43 transit systems in the province. In many communities, these buses operate on fixed routes just like their larger counterparts. They also power our handyDART service: a door-to-door, request-based option designed for passengers who are unable to use conventional fixed-route transit.
