Interregional Travel on Vancouver Island between Victoria and Campbell River
BC Transit has made service improvements to allow passengers to now be able to travel on BC Transit buses between Victoria and Campbell River.
For customers who are trying to plan an inter-regional trip using BC Transit on Vancouver Island between Victoria and Campbell River, please note that this journey crosses 5 separate Regional Transit systems, each with their own routes, fares and customer service teams. This journey cannot be done in one day and many of our inter-regional routes do not operate on Sundays or on Statutory holidays so please plan accordingly.
Most Bus passes that are transit system specific are not a valid fare product for inter-regional routes. Customers can use the Cash Balance feature of our UMO Electronic Fare Payment System or pay with cash. Our drivers are not able to make change so please have the exact fare amount ready.
