Starting September 9: You will be able to register for handyDART trip online!

handyDART is BC Transit’s door-to-door transit service for people who cannot independently, safely use fixed-route transit due to a disability. To use handyDART, you need to register and complete an eligibility assessment. Applications are typically processed within 10 to 14 days.

Download the application package. Complete the form, have a health care professional complete the assessment, and include the optional Medical Verification Form if you’d like to provide more details about your mobility needs.

Step 1: Download your application package

Download and print the application package for your service area.

The package includes an application form and an optional Medical Verification Form. Include the Medical Verification Form if you’d like to provide additional information about your mobility needs.

Step 2: Complete your application

Complete all sections of the application form.

Make sure your contact information is up to date and include any supporting information you’d like us to consider.

Step 3: Submit your application

Mail or drop off your completed application using the instructions included in the application package.

What happens next? We’ll review your application and determine your eligibility. Most applications are processed within 10 to 14 business days. Once approved, you can book trips and manage your account online, in the mobile app or by phone.
