On-Request Service

With On-Request Service, you can be picked up or dropped off at any safe location within the highlighted areas on the following routes:

• 12 Stillwater (only available on trips that do not travel to Saltery Bay) – view route 12 map
• 13 Texada – view route 13 map
• 14 Lund/Powell River – view route 14 map

A pick-up or drop-off location could be: a house, a childcare centre or an employment site.

How to book

To book an On-Request Service trip, please call 604-483-2008. All Powell River Transit riders can use On-Request Service. Each fixed-route trip is limited to two On-Request Service stops. Priority is given to the first-to-call and people with mobility challenges.

Pick-up

Pick-ups can be scheduled by calling up to 24 hours ahead. If you book a pick-up with less than 24 hours’ notice, we will try our best to accommodate you, but space may not be available.

Drop-off

When you board the bus, let the driver know where you want to be dropped off.
