Transit System: Prince George
Prince George – Join us in building a better transit future for Prince George! BC Transit is hosting public engagement sessions that will include both online and in-person opportunities to participate.
In July 2016, Prince George City Council approved 2,500 hours of expanded transit service for the city. Proposed changes include boosted Sunday service, increased trip frequency on well-used routes and improvements in bus connections, as well as an easier to understand Riders’ Guide.
Upcoming engagement sessions are your chance to provide input on these proposed changes.
Visit us at transit exchanges or Talktober events hosted by the City of Prince George. BC Transit and City staff will be on hand to hear your feedback on how to best improve transit service for your neighbourhood and the region. The schedule is available below.
Residents of Prince George and the surrounding area can also provide feedback through an online survey that can be accessed here. The survey will be online until Wednesday, November 2.
This new round of consultation builds on previous public feedback collected for the 2014 Transit Future Plan, and will be used to help put the plan into action in 2017.
