TERRACE, B.C. – The City of Terrace, the Regional District of Kitimat-Stikine and BC Transit are making changes to the system to better serve customers in the region. The changes take effect on December 30, 2013.
With input from customers at a series of open houses earlier this year and following the recommendations of a transit service review, routes and schedules are being amended so that they are more efficient and effective.
Among the improvements will be the introduction of transit service to the Keith Avenue campus of the University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC). Schedules have been streamlined with connections to the downtown core and between the Southside area and Northwest Community College. Plus customers will enjoy more frequent trips to and from Wal-Mart.
