BC Transit and the District of Squamish are advising customers of a seasonal service change, effective June 8, 2026.
This service change will see the seasonal return of Route 5 South Park which provides service to the Adventure Centre, the Sea to Sky Gondola and surrounding areas along with Stawamus Chief Provincial Park and Sp’akw’us Feather Park and connects passengers with downtown Squamish.
Free service will be offered on all routes every Saturday, Sunday and statutory holiday, starting June 8 until September 7, 2026. This includes the new OnDemand service.
Starting June 29, school-focused trips on Route 1 Brackendale and Route 4 Garibaldi will be removed for the summer. These trips will return with the new school year on September 8, 2026.
BC Transit’s OnDemand transit is now available to customers in Squamish within the south Squamish service area. Riders can book trips when they need it using the BC Transit – OnDemand app or by phone. For more information about this convenient service visit OnDemand – Squamish.
