BC Transit launches tap-to-pay by debit and credit on Pemberton buses 

Pemberton Valley – BC Transit has now introduced a new convenient, secure and quick way for riders to pay their fare on fixed-route buses in the Pemberton Valley Transit System. Starting today, riders can tap a debit card, credit card or mobile wallet on the onboard reader to pay their fare.  New contactless payment options give riders more flexibility to pay the way that works best for them. BC Bus Pass digital fare validation enabled

BC Transit and the Province of British Columbia are pleased to announce that effective September 1, BC Bus Pass fare products are enabled for contactless tap validation in transit systems that operate Umo digital payments.
