Whistler – The Resort Municipality of Whistler and BC Transit are seeking public input on the potential creation of a new transit route to better connect neighbourhoods north and south of Whistler Village.
The proposed route 10 Valley Express would focus on serving commuter destinations outside of Whistler Village (Rainbow Plaza, Nesters Mall, Whistler Creekside and Function Junction) at peak times. It would provide faster, more direct transit between north and south via Highway 99, bypassing Whistler Village.
Members of the public are invited to offer feedback on this proposed new route through an online survey available from bctransit.com/whistler. The survey will seek the community’s input in identifying key trip times, and collect feedback regarding proposed routing and bus stop locations.
The survey will be open between June 1 and 14.
