BC Transit and the Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) are advising transit customers of two seasonal service changes.
The last day of the Peak Winter Service is Easter Sunday, March 31, 2024.
This end to Peak Winter Service is a seasonal service change that will see service reduced on the following routes to reflect a change in resort operations and expected passenger demand:
- Route 4 Marketplace Free Shuttle
- Route 5 Upper Village/Benchlands Free Shuttle
- Route 7 Staff Housing
- Route 20X Cheakamus Express
- Route 21 Spring Creek (via Nordic)
- Route 33 Alpine (via Spruce Grove)
Late Winter Service will end on April 14, 2024. This change will see service reduced on the following routes:
- Route 5 Upper Village/Benchlands Free Shuttle
- Route 20X Cheakamus Express
Service will be seasonally discontinued on the following routes:
- Route 4 Marketplace Free Shuttle (last day April 14)
- Route 25 Whistler Creek (last day April 14)
- Route 33 Alpine/Village via Spruce Grove (last day March 31)
These changes are being made to reflect the seasonal closure of Blackcomb Mountain and the beginning of spring ski operations on Whistler Mountain.
