KELOWNA – Winter service changes will be in effect starting January 5 in the Kelowna Regional Transit System, in order to improve upon changes made in the September 2019 service expansion.
BC Transit and its regional partners* work hard to match service with demand. This upcoming service change will help us to continue improving service throughout the system.
Based on service demands, we will be adding additional trips to the weekday schedule to the following routes:
- 1 Lakeshore/Downtown
- 6 Glenmore/UBCO
- 8 University/OK College
Minor changes will also be made on the following routes:
- 8 University/OK College
- 12 McCulloch
- 16 Kettle Valley
- 17 Southridge
- 22 Peachland
- 26 Old Okanagan

Regional partners include: City of Kelowna, City of West Kelowna, District of Lake Country, Westbank First Nation, District of Peachland and the Regional District of Central Okanagan.
