Winter season brings service changes to the Whistler Transit System

WHISTLER – The Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) and BC Transit are announcing the start of early winter extra service effective Saturday, November 21, 2020, alongside the start of the winter seasonal service change effective Saturday, December 5, 2020 in the transit system.

Early winter extra service will begin on Saturday, November 21, 2020 until Friday, December 4, 2020. The early winter extra service will see the seasonal return of routes 4 Marketplace shuttle, 20x Cheakamus and 32 Emerald. Early winter extra service times can be found in the current Rider’s Guide in the grey boxes.

The seasonal service change on December 5 will see additional trips on select routes, including route 10 Valley Express, to improve service reliability during the winter season. Details for the 2020 seasonal service change, early winter extra service, and route schedules are available on our website at bctransit.com/whistler and will also be available in the new Rider’s Guide to be issued online and in print on November 23, 2020. BC Transit will expand its winter customer service hours beginning Saturday, November 21, 2020. Customer service can be reached daily (including statutory holidays) from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at 604-932-4020, ext. 2 or online at transit@whistler.ca.
