Winter season brings additional service to the Whistler Transit System

The Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) and BC Transit are announcing the start of Early Winter Extra Service effective Saturday, November 20, 2021, to coincide with the scheduled opening of Whistler Blackcomb ski resort on November 25.
The Early Winter Extra Service will see the seasonal return of Routes:
  • 4 Marketplace shuttle;
  • 20X Cheakamus;
  • 25 Whistler Creek;
  • 31 Alpine; and
  • 32 Emerald.
To improve service reliability as Whistler ramps up to fill winter service, there will be additional trips on Routes:
  • 5 Upper Village/Benchlands,
  • 6 Tapley’s/Blueberry,
  • 7 Staff Housing,
  • 20/20X Cheakamus, and
  • 30 Emerald via Alpine.

The Whistler Transit System will expand its winter customer service hours beginning Saturday, November 20, 2021. Customer service and can be reached daily (including statutory holidays) from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at 604-932-4020, ext. 2 or online at operations@whistlertransit.pwt.ca
BC Transit and the RMOW thank riders for their continued support, in alignment with the Provincial Health Officer, of mandatory face coverings on board busses and transit shelters (therefore, no eating or drinking on the buses), and adhering to physical distancing when possible while on board and at transit stops.
