We want to hear from you! Public consultation coming to Campbell River

Campbell River – Public consultation in Campbell River will begin today to help create a more effective and efficient transit service.

The consultation will focus on introducing 1,500 hours of service leading to proposed route and schedule changes. The service expansion builds on the vision of the transit future plan by developing a new service plan with improved peak hour service as approved by Campbell River city council.

Proposed changes include:

• Transit route improvements that reduce route duplication
• Improved schedules and service frequency at peak commute times
• New transit loops and better connections to Willow Point and Campbellton
• Additional bus stops and new bus stop signage

The consultation will include online and in-person opportunities to participate. An online survey and all of the proposed changes can be seen at bctransit.com/campbell-river/survey. The online survey will be live until March 8, 2017. People can also participate in person on Wednesday, March 1. Details are available below:
