COMOX VALLEY – Get there by bus and enjoy the Victoria Day parade in Cumberland with no driving or parking worries.
On Monday, May 23, 2016, the Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) and BC Transit are offering rides by donation for the 128th anniversary of Victoria Day celebrations in Cumberland.
Buses will travel between downtown Courtenay and downtown Cumberland, stopping at Driftwood Mall and Anfield Centre (Walmart) along the way. The Special #2 Cumberland will run hourly from 7:10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
In keeping with this year’s Victoria Day event theme ‘Salute to Cycling’, all Comox Valley transit buses are equipped with bike racks.
