Transit System: Pemberton Valley, Squamish, Whistler
BC Transit would like to notify its valued customers in Squamish, Whistler and Pemberton of a delay in any potential job action pending the ratification of a tentative agreement.
The labour dispute is between BC Transit’s contractor – Diversified Transportation in Squamish and Whistler Transit Ltd. in Whistler and Pemberton – and their unionized employees. Job action has the potential to disrupt transit services and our customers’ ability to use the public transit services and BC Transit recommends that customers make alternative transportation arrangements in the event of any service disruptions.
BC Transit, the District of Squamish, the Resort Municipality of Whistler and the Village of Pemberton will communicate if there are any service issues as we become aware of them.
