Transit service suspended in Ashcroft-Clinton - Update July 30, 2017

Route 1 Ashcroft-Clinton is suspended in the Ashcroft-Clinton Transit System until further notice due to the wildfires in the area. The On Request service between Ashcroft and Kamloops will operate, but will bypass Clinton as the community is under an evacuation order. Health Connections is also expected to operate on Tuesday and Thursday.

BC Transit extends our thoughts to the people and communities affected by the wildfires in British Columbia.

BC Transit remains in regular contact with Emergency Management BC and the local authorities, and will provide updates as appropriate.

Please be advised that the City of Prince George and City of Kamloops are offering free transit services to evacuees. In Prince George, show your red wristband to use transit services for free. In Kamloops, free transit passes for registered evacuees are available at the Tournament Capital Centre (910 McGill Rd) or City Hall (7 Victoria St. West).
