Transit System: Dawson Creek
Dawson Creek – In response to customer feedback, effective July 3, transit users in Dawson Creek will benefit from routing and scheduling changes on all bus routes.
Highlights include the addition of new weekday trips between 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. on routes 1 Northside (two new trips) and 2 Southside (one new trip), and extending route 3 Central to Highway 97 to provide service to Norlys Clinic.
Other changes include schedule adjustments to offer improved connections at Co-op Mall Exchange, extending route 1 Northside service to Sunset Ridge between September and June, and modifying route 2 Southside so that all trips serve Canadian Tire, Walmart, the casino and the Aquatic Centre.
To reduce route duplication, route 2 Southside will no longer serve the hospital and library (routes 1 Northside and 3 Central continue to serve the area).
