Transit System: Mount Waddington
MOUNT WADDINGTON, B.C. – BC Transit and the Regional District of
Mount Waddington are pleased to announce service improvements, effective October
1, 2012.
Continuing to build on Mount Waddington’s steady ridership growth of 6.4%
in 2011/12, we are adjusting schedules to better match BC Ferries arrivals and
departures. Plus both route #1 Port McNeill and route #2 Port Hardy will now
travel via Port McNeill and District Hospital.
The route #12 Port McNeill Local has been amended and will include a stop at
the Port McNeill Medical Clinic on McNeill Road.
New Service Highlights:
> Route #12 will include Port McNeill Medical Clinic
> Routes #1 and #2 will travel to Port McNeill and District Hospital
>Improved ferry connections
