SQUAMISH/WHISTLER/PEMBERTON – The ‘Transit Future Bus’ is coming back to the Sea to Sky region following Phase One consultations that were held in March of this year. The Squamish-Lillooet Regional District, Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW), District of Squamish and BC Transit are inviting the public to get on board with the region’s 25-year Transit Future Plan.
The ‘Transit Future Bus’ is a 40-foot mobile, interactive consultation tool that includes educational displays highlighting area specific transit needs, priorities and concerns. BC Transit and its local government partners want to reconfirm the findings of Phase One with their customers and stakeholders, before making planning recommendations about routes, schedules and service hours.
Attend a Phase Two open house on the ‘Transit Future Bus’ and steer the Sea to Sky regional transit plan in the direction that best suits the wants and needs of your community.
