Transit Engagement Comes to Qualicum Beach

Nanaimo – Join us in building a better Transit Future for Qualicum Beach! BC Transit and the Regional District of Nanaimo are hosting a public engagement session that will include both online and in-person opportunities to participate.

This is your chance to provide input on potential transit improvements in your community, and share your thoughts on the new 98 Qualicum Beach route.

Visit us on Saturday, October 1 to have your say in-person. BC Transit and Regional District of Nanaimo staff will be on hand to hear your feedback on how to best improve transit service for your neighbourhood and the region.

Saturday, October 1

Ravensong Aquatic Centre
8:30 AM – 11:30 AM

Qualicum Beach Farmer’s Market
8:30 AM – 12:00 PM

Quality Foods
12:00 – 2:30 PM

Residents of Qualicum Beach and the surrounding area can also provide feedback through an online survey that can be accessed here or on the Regional District of Nanaimo Transit Future webpage.

This new round of consultation builds on previous public feedback collected for the 2012/2013 Transit Future Plan, and will be used to help put the plan into action in 2017.
