BC Transit and its local government partners work hard to match service with demand and provide reliable transportation services for customers.
Due to a recent labour challenge, BC Transit is implementing a short-term reduced service schedule to provide more stability for customers in the Kitimat Transit System.
This adjusted service schedule means a short-term, minor reduction of service on the routes 1A, 1B, 2 and 3 on Fridays and Sundays.
This change will go into effect on Sunday, August 14 until further notice. The organization is working with our operating company, PW Transit, to rectify this issue and will resume full scheduled service as soon as possible.
BC Transit appreciates the patience of customers during this time, and apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
