Temporary ferry schedule change to impact Sunshine Coast customers
Transit System: Sunshine Coast
26 May 2022
BC Transit and the Sunshine Coast Regional District are informing customers of short-term changes to the BC Ferries schedule that will impact travel connections in the Sunshine Coast Regional Transit System.
Effective May 27, BC Ferries is temporarily altering their schedule for the Langdale-Horseshoe Bay route. The new Langdale arrival times mean BC Transit service from the Langdale Ferry Terminal does not align for riders travelling on those sailings.
This revised ferry schedule is expected to remain in place until June 23. Unfortunately, BC Transit is unable to make schedule changes on such short notice for the routes 1 and 90 to match these new travel times. This BC Ferries’ schedule change means that it is likely the following transit departures from Langdale terminal will not meet the ferry arrival times:
1 Langdale Ferry/Sechelt
90 Langdale Ferry/Sechelt Express
Monday to Friday
12:57 pm
3:10 pm
10:10pm
12:55 pm

10:03 pm
Saturday

9:50pm

Sunday
12:55 pm

Please note: Buses will not be able to meet the final sailing arriving at Langdale terminal at 12:10 am, but will continue on their regular route.
BC Transit sincerely apologizes for any inconvenience this schedule change may cause and appreciates the patience of our customers at this time. Customers in the region can now see real-time bus locations along routes and updated routes and schedules using NextRide and the Transit App. For more information on schedules, visit bctransit.com/sunshine-coast.
