Transit System: Comox Valley
COMOX VALLEY – Festival Weekend in Comox – one of the longest-running community festivals in the Comox Valley — reaches a climax on BC Day, Monday, August 1, and BC Transit and the Comox Valley Regional District are right in the party mood.
On Monday, August 1, Comox Valley Transit will provide Special BC Day Service, with all fares on all routes by donation, rather than the usual $2 for adults and $1.75 for seniors and students up to Grade 12.
The BC Day transit service will include the 34 C2C Express with two trips per hour between downtown Courtenay and the festivities in downtown Comox, and special connector buses from Cumberland, Royston/Buckley Bay and Saratoga Beach.
Check out the Rider’s Alert on buses or on the Comox Valley Transit webpage under Schedules and Maps.
While on-board, be sure to snap a selfie and enter to win prizes from the CVRD’s In2Transit promotion – more details available at www.comoxvalleyrd.ca/In2Transit.
