Transit System: Salt Spring Island
SALT SPRING ISLAND – Summer is coming soon and Salt Spring Island
and BC Transit are increasing transit service hours to match growing demand.
Beginning Wednesday, June 26, 2013 service levels in the Salt Spring Island
Transit System are being boosted.
The summer service will see frequency improvements on all routes and especially
on the ferry-fed #2 Fulford Harbour route where customers will note more
trips on Saturday afternoons.
Visitors and residents are encouraged to consider purchasing a dayPASS for
$5. Children 4 years and under ride free on BC Transit.
