BC Transit and the Regional District of Nanaimo are informing transit customers of a seasonal service change, effective June 30, 2024.
To coincide with the end of the school year, ‘S’ trips will be removed from the following routes across the transit system:
- 1 Country Club/Downtown
- 5 Fairview
- 15 VIU/Woodgrove
- 30 NRGH
- 40 VIU Express
All service on route 92 Hammond Bay will be discontinued for the summer. Full service will resume in the fall when school is back in session.
We encourage our customers to use the UMO app, Transit App, Google Transit or any other app of their choice for real-time bus tracking and planning your next transit journey.
