BC Transit is advising customers of a seasonal service change for the Victoria Regional Transit System, effective July 3, 2023.
These changes will impact several routes, with minor changes being made to the following routes:
Other changes will impact the buses that serve the Swartz Bay ferry terminal:

Additional trips on Route 70 Swartz Bay/Downtown every day of the week, including southbound express trips that bypass Sidney.

At the Swartz Bay terminal, Route 72 Swartz Bay/Downtown will depart from a stop that is separate from the routes 70 and 71.
There will be improved midday service on route 75 Saanichton/Royal Oak/Downtown on weekdays and Sundays. There will also be additional Saturday trips to Burchart Gardens for the summer on this route.
School trips for K – 12 students will be removed from several routes as classes are not in session.
Route 17 Cedar Hill will also be discontinued for the summer months.
