KAMLOOPS – On July 2, 2012 summer service hours will begin in Kamloops
to accommodate seasonal changes in ridership.
Routes #1 Tranquille, #2 Parkcrest, #3 Westsyde, #7 Aberdeen and #9 Gleneagles
will run on a summer schedule. Route changes will take effect on the #4 Pacific
Way and route #7 Aberdeen. Route #11 Lorne will no longer operate.
Many of the routes will resume regular service in September.
BC Transit and the City of Kamloops are working together to match service levels
with customer needs. A reduction in summer transit hours, means extra service
hours can be added at high demand times during the remainder of the year.
