WHISTLER, B.C. – It’s that time of year again: on Tuesday,
April 22, 2014, Whistler Transit will transition to the spring, summer and fall
schedule.
Every year, Whistler Transit transitions from its peak winter service volumes
to reduced spring, summer and fall service hours. The hours are economized to
match the decreased demand so that extra resources can be used to meet the higher
demand during the busy winter months.
Main changes include:
- #4 Marketplace Shuttle free service and #3 Rainbow/Emerald express service
are winter-only and will return November 15, 2014
- Last direct bus leaving the Village south to Spring Creek is at 5:15 p.m.
- Last bus leaving the Village south to Cheakamus is at 3:05 a.m.
- Last bus leaving the Village north to Emerald is at 3:05 a.m.
The full Whistler Transit winter schedule will resume December 1, 2014.
