DAWSON CREEK / POUCE COUPE – The theme of this year’s Canada Day celebrations in Pouce Coupe is “Celebrate the Queen’s 90th Birthday”, and while there may not be a Royal Daimler to get you there, BC Transit, the City of Dawson Creek and the Village of Pouce Coupe will have a “28-foot limo” for you.
Once again this year, a FREE shuttle bus service will operate between Dawson Creek and Pouce Coupe on Friday, July 1, 2016.
The shuttle bus will leave the Encana Events Centre in Dawson Creek at 9:40 a.m. and 10:20 a.m. before the Canada Day parade begins in Pouce Coupe at 11:00 a.m.
After the parade, the shuttle will return to Dawson Creek starting at 12:30 a.m.
An afternoon shuttle will leave Dawson Creek at 12:15 p.m. to take passengers to the Pouce Coupe ball diamonds for the annual Canada Day festivities, which will include assorted food vendors as well as crafters. The shuttle returns to Dawson Creek from Pouce Coupe Park at 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.
