Share your thoughts about the Nanaimo-Cowichan Express!

BC Transit, the Regional District of Nanaimo (RDN) and the Cowichan Valley Regional District (CVRD) are looking for feedback from transit customers on the first anniversary of the 70 NCX Nanaimo-Cowichan Express from April 3 until April 17, 2023.

BC Transit is looking to get feedback that will help fine-tune the service. This includes getting information about trip times, the limited stop policy and the possibility of expansion.

The 70 NCX Nanaimo-Cowichan Express was implemented in March 2022. The route was designed to provide all-day express service between Nanaimo and Duncan.

Starting today until April 17, passengers can visit engage.bctransit.com/ncx2023 to take part in this survey.

Paper surveys will be available at the following locations:

  • CVRD Head Office (175 Ingram St., Duncan)

  • Ladysmith Resources Centre Association (630 2nd Ave., Ladysmith)

  • RDN Administration and Transportation Office Buildings (6300 Hammond Bay Rd., Nanaimo)

  • Vancouver Island University (Fifth St. Building 193, Upper Level, Nanaimo)

  • Oceanside Place Arena (830 West Island Highway, Parksville)

  • Ravensong Aquatic Centre (737 Jones Street Qualicum Beach)
