BC Transit and the District of Kitimat are announcing some changes to the transit service, effective Sunday, May 28, 2023.
Due to a shortage of drivers, scheduling changes will be made for the week of May 28 until June 3, 2023. The changes are as follows:

All Sunday service is cancelled. This includes conventional and handyDART service

No additional Friday service. Friday service will be the same schedule as Monday to Thursday service

Thursday handyDART service will be for scheduled medical appointments only
BC Transit and its operating company in the Kitimat Transit System, PW Transit, are working hard to hire more drivers and are looking for people with strong customer service skills, who enjoy interacting with the public and supporting their community.
