Service changes make their way to the Victoria Regional Transit System

VICTORIA – BC Transit is announcing service changes in the Victoria Regional Transit System effective June 28, 2021.

BC Transit works hard to match service with demand. Service reductions during the summer allows for increased service in the fall and winter when demand is higher. This change will include reductions on middle and secondary school oriented trips.

This service change includes service level adjustments on routes 7 UVic/Downtown and 21 Interurban/Downtown to better align with demand.

Additional routing changes on route 53 Colwood Exchange/Langford Exchange will also be included in this change. The route will now begin/end at Victoria General Hospital rather than Colwood Exchange. All trips will be routed via Thetis Lake and limited peak service will be available to/from downtown.
