Service changes headed to Whistler

WHISTLER – BC Transit and the Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) are announcing a service change in the Whistler Transit System effective September 8, 2020.
BC Transit and the RMOW work hard to match service with demand and continue to ensure reliable transportation services are available to our customers. In addition to the annual seasonal adjustment from summer to fall service levels, we are shifting trip times of routes north and south of Whistler Village and increasing frequency on the route 10 Valley Express.
This service change will include:
  • Improved frequency on route 10 Valley Express from 7am to 7pm
  • Reduced frequency on routes 20 Cheakamus and 30 Emerald via Alpine during lunch hours
  • Seasonal discontinuation of routes 8 Lost Lake Shuttle, 32 Emerald via Spruce Grove, and 20X Cheakamus Express
  • Service on routes 32 and 20X returns with early winter seasonal extra service on November 21
