Service changes coming to routes serving Osoyoos

Osoyoos – This fall, bus riders travelling from Osoyoos to Penticton or Kelowna will be able to reach their destination earlier on weekday mornings.

Starting Tuesday, September 4, the first weekday morning trip on routes 40 Osoyoos/Penticton and 60 Kelowna/Osoyoos via Penticton will leave Osoyoos at 7:15 a.m., instead of the current 7:30 a.m. departure. As well, buses will now also provide scheduled service to Peachtree Mall (Skaha Lake and Green) and to Okanagan College.

Trips from Penticton will now leave from the Warren Street side of Cherry Lane Shopping Centre, with the last afternoon bus to Osoyoos departing earlier, at 3:50 p.m. The last route 60 bus from Kelowna’s Orchard Park Mall will also leave earlier, at 2:35 p.m.

Customers travelling to Kaleden should be advised that the stop at Kaleden Community Hall will now be On-Request only.

Morning weekday trips on route 41 Osoyoos Local will also leave 15 minutes earlier, to coincide with the above schedule changes on routes 40 and 60.
