Service change brings route 70 to Peachland

PENTICTON – BC Transit and the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen* are announcing a service change in the South Okanagan-Similkameen Transit System effective January 4, 2021.

BC Transit works hard to match service with demand. This service change will introduce the addition of new stops for route 70 Kelowna/Penticton in the District of Peachland. The need for this service was identified in the Transit Future Plan for the Okanagan-Similkameen region.

With this service change, residents of Peachland will now have direct access to Penticton via route 70 Kelowna/Penticton.

• One round-trip will operate via Peachland Tuesday through Friday, with an additional round-trip also operating Mondays
