Transit System: Powell River
BC Transit, the City of Powell River and qathet Regional District are advising customers of a seasonal service change, effective September 5, 2023.
To reflect an increase in demand, with the return of school, a new route has been created. Route 9 Brooks School will be a dedicated school route. This route replaces the school trips that are normally added to Route 1 Townsite/Wildwood.
Starting September 5, Route 12 Stillwater will run on a consistent year-round schedule.
In addition, the Route 14 will revert to a reduced fall and winter service.
