BC Transit and the Regional District of Nanaimo (RDN) are advising transit customers of a seasonal change to the transit system, effective December 24, 2023.
Between December 24 and January 6, the trips marked with “s” in the schedule, will be removed on the following routes:

5 Fairview

15/15A VIU Connector

20/20A Hammond Bay/Dover

30 NRGH

40 VIU Express

92 Hammond Bay
Route 11 Lantzville will also not serve Dover Bay Secondary between December 24 and January 6.
These routes will have reduced service when classes are not in session. School trips will be reintroduced as part of the new Winter 2024 schedule, which begins Sunday, January 7, 2024.
