Transit System: Prince George
BC Transit and the City of Prince George are announcing seasonal adjustments for the upcoming school year, starting on September 6, 2022.
With the return of students comes an increase in demand. Post-secondary trips on the 15 UNBC/Downtown and the 55 Victoria will return. These trips are denoted by the “U” and “F” trip notes in the riders’ guide.
Service will resume on the 12 Parkridge, 96 Shas Ti Kelly Road and 97 Shas Ti Kelly Road routes to cater to students in K – 12 schools.
Route 105 Pine Centre/Downtown Express offers fast and direct service between major destinations in Prince George. It also offers an alternative to College of New Caledonia students who don’t want to take routes 88 or 89 to get to school.
The first two weeks of school are the busiest for our routes, as students return to class and are figuring out their new schedules. To help plan your route, check out NextRide for up to the minute details and sign up for online rider alerts for any changes to the daily schedule.
