Kamloops – BC Transit and the City of Kamloops are excited to spread the holiday spirit by supporting the Santa Claus Parade on Sunday, November 17, 2019.
The reindeer BC Transit bus will be featured in the parade again this year. Watch for us and make sure to let out a big cheer for the transit team when you see it go by!
To support the parade, BC Transit will be implementing detours and utilizing temporary bus stops. Temporary disruptions will occur at the Lansdowne Transit Exchange between 3:30 p.m. and the end of the parade, and stops will be moved from Victoria Street to a temporary stop location on 4th Avenue at St Paul Street from 1 p.m. to the end of the parade. We encourage people coming to the parade to take transit. Please be aware that space on buses will be limited. We encourage people to be mindful of their belongings, and for those with strollers to please leave extra time in their travel plans.
