Transit System: Powell River
POWELL RIVER – BC Transit, the City of Powell River and the Regional District of Powell River are getting into the spirit of the season with the return of the beloved Santa Bus. Rides are just $.25 per passenger.
Santa, Mrs. Claus and their elves are making the journey from the North Pole to Powell River. The Santa Bus will run on December 12 and 13, 2014 on regular scheduled service throughout Powell River.
The Santa Bus is easy to spot, with reindeer antlers and a reindeer nose. Santa will be handing out candy canes to transit customers. Even those who may be on the “naughty list” this year will find $.25 transit rides a nice treat while traveling on the Santa Bus on December 12 & 13 only.
BC Transit customers should also be aware of holiday schedule:
December 24 – regular service ends at 7 p.m.
December 25 – no service
December 26 – Sunday/holiday service
December 31 – regular service ends at 7 p.m.
January 1 – no service
January 2 – regular service resumes
