VICTORIA – Oh, what fun it is to ride on the Santa Bus! BC Transit is excited to bring a little joy to the world once again this year.
Folks should be on the lookout for the annual Santa Bus making its way around town in the Victoria Regional Transit System.
You can catch a glimpse of (or take a ride on) the red-nosed bus on Friday, December 11 and Saturday, December 12. The Santa Bus will be free to ride on both days.
BC Transit has implemented safety measures to respond to COVID-19 which include a mandatory face covering policy, increased cleaning of buses and facilities, installation full driver doors and vinyl panels, and following capacity management practices.
During your transit journey, please remember to wear a face covering, follow the directional signage, stay home if you are sick, and to practice physical distancing to the best of your ability.
Face coverings are mandatory on all BC Transit buses. Exceptions include:
- People with health conditions or with physical, cognitive or mental impairments who cannot wear one
- People who cannot remove a mask on their own
- Children under the age of 12
