Reminder: Survey for interregional transit service between Cowichan Valley and Nanaimo

BC Transit, the Cowichan Valley Regional District, and the Regional District of Nanaimo want to remind customers about the feedback survey for interregional transit service between the two regions.

The proposed interregional transit service would provide opportunities to travel between the Cowichan Valley and the Nanaimo region via transit.

The online survey, which was initially launched on September 21, 2020, will be available for public input until December 18, 2020. The survey was extended in order to accommodate the recent provincial election.

The online survey gives customers in both regions a chance to provide feedback on the need for an interregional route including:

1. The start and final destinations;
2. Preferred trip times and;
3. The proposed fares for the service

The dedicated website is available for more information on the service, which offers the public a web-based map to pin the start and end of their travel, while providing an opportunity to ask questions or provide comments to staff.
