VERNON – BC Transit and the Regional District of North Okanagan announced today that starting Tuesday, September 7, 2021, route 90 UBCO/Vernon Connector will reinstate its regular fall service schedule, making it easier for North Okanagan students, faculty and staff to get to the University of British Columbia Okanagan campus when classes are back in session.
Two midday trips in each direction will be restored on this route. From downtown Vernon, the bus will add trips at 12 and 1 p.m., arriving at the UBCO Exchange in Kelowna at 12:48 and 1:48 p.m., respectively. From UBCO, the restored trips will leave at 1 and 2 p.m., arriving in Vernon at 1:51 and 2:51 p.m., respectively.
In alignment with the Provincial Health Officer announcement, face coverings are mandatory for customers on all BC Transit buses operating in the Vernon Regional Transit System.
BC Transit also reminds customers that Free Transit for Children 12 and Under launches on September 1, and more information on that program is available here.
