Transit System: Powell River
Powell River – The City of Powell River and BC Transit are getting into the holiday spirit by welcoming the arrival of the traditional Santa Bus to the streets of Powell River.
Look for the antlered, red-nosed bus, hop on board, and enjoy a candy cane on Friday, December 15 and Saturday, December 16.
On those same two dates, bus riders will also be able to travel for only 25 cents on conventional transit routes (1 Townsite/Wildwood, 2 Grief Point and 3 Upper Westview). Riders on rural routes 12 Stillwater, 13 Texada Island and 14 Lund will also enjoy 25-cent rides on Friday, December 15.
