Possible transit service impacts due to wildfires

Please be advised due to the shifting nature of the wildfires burning in various parts of the province, transit services may be disrupted with little notice.

BC Transit extends our thoughts to the people and communities affected by the wildfires in British Columbia.

BC Transit remains in regular contact with Emergency Management BC and local resources to ensure the safety of customers, staff and vehicles. Routing and service levels will adjust as local conditions require. Updates will be provided on BCTransit.com as well as through social media.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

In addition, the City of Prince George and City of Kamloops are offering free transit services to evacuees. In Prince George, show your red wristband to use transit services for free. In Kamloops, free transit passes for registered evacuees are available at the Tournament Capital Centre (910 McGill Rd) or City Hall (7 Victoria St. West).
