In 2022, BC Transit worked with the Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako, the Regional District of Kitimat-Stikine, and the Town of Smithers to review the Highway 16 transit service. This review looked at how the system was performing and where we could make improvements to routes, service levels, and infrastructure.
