Phase Two of Transit Future Planning

PRINCE GEORGE – The Transit Future Bus is returning to Prince George after a record turnout last year. Phase two of the City of Prince George and BC Transit 25-year Transit Future Plan, includes six open houses over three days.

During phase one of the Transit Future Plan last July, approximately 1600 Prince George residents shared their opinions on the growth and evolution of transit services. That is the highest participation level of any Transit Future Bus event in the Province since the decommissioned bus was introduced as an interactive communication tool in 2010.

In phase two, we will outline the draft transit future network and highlight service improvement priorities, gathered from both the first public consultation process and the subsequent contributions of the Transit Future Plan Stakeholder Advisory Group. Residents will have the chance to confirm that the City of Prince George and BC Transit have accurately reflected the community-led direction of transit services.

Attend an open house on the “Transit Future Bus”, and steer Prince George in the direction that best suits the wants and needs of the community.
